This is a magnificent British Footed Gravy Boat by a London Silversmith in 1900; the solid sterling silver piece has its rim with hand hammered decoration and Royal Crest Lion Rampant with Arrow engraved to side. It is fully hallmarked, bearing a Crowned Lion Head as town mark for London, a Lion passant for assuring silver quality, and a letter ‘e’ for year 1900, along with a silversmith hallmark within shield which is barely identifiable. Weight: 190 grams. Measures: 19 cm long by 12 cm high.
