Pair Tiffany Sterling Silver Ball Footed Salt Cellars;
Up for sale is a pair of Tiffany & Co. ball footed salt cellars, dated late 19
th
century. Both cellars with three ball feet feature decorative curtain skirts with repousse floral pattern at the upper rim and marked with “3246 Makers 6441”. “T” is marked underneath as well, indicating a late 19
th
century production. Both have the monograms at one side with an alphabet calligraphy “R”.
Measures: Dimensions, 2” upper rim diameter x 1 ¼” high; Weight, totally 2.6 ozt (73.7 grams). Condition: Pre-owned, the bowl inside shows wear, consistent with age and use. One cellar has few tiny dents while the other one is perfect without any damages.
