    Description

    Gorham (old hallmarks) with a pinched edge on top, curved fluted designed circumference and beaded base.  The back has "lion, anchor and G", model #2390, sterling and double dots which were used in 1893 to identify the year the item was made.  The height is 1" and the opening is 2 1/4".  The fluting is also called "gadroon".
    The interior is in good condition with no dings, but shows some ware on the bottom.  There are no monograms or removals.  This salt cellar can be used with a glass interior or as is.
