Antique German Jugendstil Martin Mayer 800 Silver Eagle Head Salt Cellar Germany

Description

This auction is for an antique Martin Mayer 800 silver salt cellar.  It has an eagle head on both ends.  This salt cellar has several marks : "13", "800", "Depose", a crescent moon and crown mark for Germany, a wheel and star for Martin Mayer, and it has another hallmark on the side of the salt cellar.  The salt cellar is in very good antique condition, there are a couple areas of reddish oxidation on the inside and it is possible that it originally had a glass liner.  It measures approximately 4 3/8" by 2 1/8" by 1 7/16" and weighs approximately 48.31 grams.  Please look closely at all photos for condition.  If you have any questions, please message me.  Thanks for looking at my auction.
